DISCLAIMER: Area of suspected blood must be dry prior to the application of Amido Black. 

1. Select an application method. 

Tray immersion: Submerge item in Amido Black solution for 30 – 90 seconds. Transfer item into Amido Black Rinse solution for 1 minute. 

Spray application: Evenly apply Amido Black solution with a squirt bottle and leave for 30 – 90 seconds. Apply Amido Black Rinse solution with a squirt bottle. 

2. Rinse with water and allow surface to air dry. 

3. Ridges will develop a dark blue color and can be captured using 1:1 photography. 

4. Repeat application and rinse processes as necessary to further enhance development.
